The universal Teichmüller space and related topics

Abstract

In this survey, we give an expository account of the universal Teichmüller space with emphasis on the connection with univalent functions. In the theory, the Schwarzian derivative plays an important role. We also introduce many interesting results involving Schwarzian derivatives and pre-Schwarzian derivatives, as well.
